| Naomi Chava Puckerman is the only - and younger - sister to the infamous Noah "Puckzilla" Puckerman, but they are like chalk and cheese and always have been. Four years younger than Puck, Naomi is more on the reserved side to Puck, having witnessed the trouble repeatedly that he has managed to get himself into and all the consequences involved. She never knew her father, who skipped out on the family when she was a baby, so Puck was always the only male authority figure in her life, but sometimes, he was just unreachable to her. Now, as they have gotten older and Puck nearing then end of his high school life, they have become closer and formed a somewhat healthier sibling relationship. Puck's determined to protect her, and for the moment, she's willing to let him... if she thinks he has something of value to offer. She's a smart girl, always managing to keep good grades, but she can be a bit flighty sometimes, getting distracted by the typical things teenage girls do... boys, friends, shopping, texting, Facebook, romantic comedies and the like. She has a lot of friends and is about to try out for the Cheerios, though she's still not sure she really wants to get in yet or do something more unconventional like metal shop, never quite able to shake the hint of a tom boy streak she has from watching her big brother grow up. Now, she just hopes Puck never does anything stupid like stealing ATMs and getting tossed into juvie again. She never told him, but cried for days when he got put away, terrified he would never come back again. Losing her brother is always a fear she has at the back of her mind, and all she can do is hope that despite his long-standing tendencies, he doesn't do that one stupid thing that takes him away from their family forever. | ||||
| VERSES CANON / OPEN VERSE: For the purposes of open RP community threads not isolated to her other verses (eg. SWS), Naomi is fifteen years old to Puck's 19. She is a Freshman at William McKinley High School and wants to do Nursing at college to become a nurse like her mom. In this verse, Naomi is more than happy to be tagged by any and all Glee muses. BACK WITH BAGGAGE VERSE: Naomi always feared she would lose her big brother, and her nightmare came true when, after he graduated from McKinley, the content world he had built himself spontaneously combusted when he lost his BFF, Blaine, and also the on girl Naomi suspected he had been truly in love with... Dani Lorenzi. Puck was never the same again after that fateful night when the group of Puck's friends crashed and burned in an infamous argument at the graduation party that people at McKinley talked about for years, and Naomi had to sit and watch her brother spiral out of control without a hope in hell of being able to help him. He got more aggressive and pushed her away, and he up and left for LA without much of a word. Naomi missed him beyond belief, but it was during one of his particularly rare visits home to visit her and their mom that Naomi caught him stealing a large amount of her hard-earned cash from her purse to buy drugs. They had a terrible argument and said nasty things to each other, and for the first time in her life, Naomi feared for her safety at her brother's hand during one of his withdrawal moments lacking a decent hit. She let him take the money... but never spoke to him again after that night. Her life was a struggle after that, never quite finding it easy to trust anyone anymore. After graduated McKinley three years later, Naomi went on and got her Bachelor of Nursing at Ohio State University. She has now been a fully qualified nurse and midwife in Obstetrics for three years, and suddenly finds herself with an out of the blue message from her big brother nearly ten years after last speaking to him. It's not been an easy adulthood for her. She was in and out of bad relationships with guys that seemed to always want to treat her bad, and just a few months before getting Puck's message, Naomi fell pregnant to a guy who thought it was fun to get high and call her horrible names all the time. The relationship didn't last long, but maybe longer than it should with Naomi wondering if she just settle for the jerks when she couldn't find anyone better. She accidentally fell pregnant to the guy during a drunken romp one night, and in a panic, had an abortion because she couldn't face raising anything with his genes. Now she fiercely regrets it and is struggling to cope with the choice she made. Puck's message came at just the right time, but how was she supposed to tell him after all these years that she killed her baby because she was scared it would turn out just like him?
